2 pm: Jack Capuano may be a little short on Defense for tomorrow's game against the Florida Panthers, but even though Joensuu and McDonald may not be available to play, he feels comfortable with what he has.

He was praising Kyle Okposo, although he said he does need to get the puck off his stick quicker. He is also impressed with Aucoin and his battle level.

That being said, there are no call-ups expected from Bridgeport.

12:55 pm: Bad news for David Ullstrom and Jack Cauano as he was sent back to NY for evaluation and the news isn't good. Ullstrom will be out for 3 - 4 weeks with a groin injury. That was what Butch expected when they replayed how he just skated incorrectly and then had to be helped to the room. Not a good thing for the Isles.

If you missed the TGIFriday's viewing party, you can check out Clark Gillies talking about the move to Brooklyn on patch. (http://parkslope.patch.com/articles/isles-great-brooklyn-will-be-exciting#video-13679030)

7 am: Islander fans got a game in HD last night, but they didn't get a post game report after an excellent win over Tampa Bay. No, airing the same NBA thing on two channels was far more important than being able to discuss a win in St. Pete. Even though it hadn't happened in a long time.

The Islanders defense was the difference in last night's game. After being sorely lacking in so many games with horrific outcomes, last night, as Jack says here in this piece with Peter Ruttgaizer, all twenty guys were going -- for a change.

No word as of yet on David Ullstrom's injury. It looked as if he just lost an edge and pulled something. Just bad luck.

Jack looks a little tired, but they are back at it today in Florida. This is not a day off for them. I'm sure Art Staple will have a report from Sunrise around 12:30 pm today.
