Talking to a source just now who informed me that the Sharks may have found a home for Patrick Marleau. Earlier tonight, during the HockeyBuzz Live Podcast, I broke a trade rumour that I called an e1, stating that the LA Kings were considering a Marleau for Frolov swap. While my source in the west coast just now would not confirm nor deny that deal or the Kings involvement, he would tell me that 2 teams were loosely involved and the one of the teams was in the Northeast, but not in Canada.

Meanwhile, word is the Sabres may have been involved. This coming from another source.

Anyway. I have a 9 am call with a source in Boston, so we will see what, if any, light he may be able to shed on this.

As my source said minutes ago. "push has come to shove in San Jose we are hearing."
