* I am hearing the Flames are looking beyond Mark Andre Fleury because the price is too high. It sounds like the Flames are perfectly fine with other options...One such option may be Jimmy Howard who the Red Wings are looking to move. Howard is a great option and Detroit is more than eager to clear cap space...
*The Flyers are being very aggressive I am told, especially when talking to other teams around the NHL. The Flyers want to move up in the Draft in the top 5 and if they can't they will work very hard to move a defensive prospect for a top 6 forward... I keep hearing talks with Edmonton regarding Yakupov or Eberle.
*On Stamkos... I keep hearing a "surprise team with Cup potential" is getting into the talks...that would require another MAJOR deal to happen since most of the top teams are tapped out with regards to the Cap. The only Cup contender that isn't would be Nashville.
*Vegas Expansion announcement today at 4pm ET. Should be interesting. We will discuss this MUCH more this summer...
