Currently the Flyers are in a rare position of uncertainty heading into this season in goal. Michael Neuvirth is signed and has played like a #1 at times, but injuries have always found a way of stopping his ascent. The Flyers have expressed some interest in bringing Mason back as well, but my sources say they are leaning more towards Bernier or Elliott....The Flyers have also talked to Vegas about MAF, but it sounds like they may hold onto MAF until they can extort a team closer to the deadline...

Starting to hear serious interest by the Leafs in Shattenkirk because Lou Lamoriello really likes his game and experience...My money would still be on the NYR or NJ...Kevin wants to live in the states and more specifically around the NY area. The Leafs getting involved here can only help Shattenkirk's value...
