Montreal may not be done. I am am following up on that tip now........also rumour the Flyers looking are into Nabokovs rights...

I honestly can't remember a more chaotic draft feeling to start.

There are big names, controversy, unhappy campers, and more...There is a rather odd feeling of unrest. I am not convinced of anything right now.

The the biggest difference this year is the lack of denials when you ask about the bigger names in play...

Some late rumors...

*Spezza to Calgary, San Jose, Edmonton or Vancouver

*The Oilers are definitely doing all they can to get the second pick out Boston.

* The Flyers deal with Tim Thomas could be as big as a 2 for 2 swap and could happen sooner than later. If at all.

* Stephen Weiss is in play...in a huge way.

* The Oilers fans are EVERYWHERE. Hats off to them for representing...

* The Islanders aren't getting many bites to move down in the draft.

* There is a growing sense Burke is playing this so he can move Kaberle after July 1....or at least that what he is willing to do. Big difference.

* Semin is in play. The Flames have the assets.

* Hamhuis could be moved.

* Grabovski for a pick is likely...
