Monday Morning, Toronto:

I will have more on the amazing North American Team in a bit, but we have some rumors buzzing around Toronto this morning. Actually in Canada they spell it R-U-M-O-U-R-S...

Anyway...

I've been hearing the Chicago Blackhawks have interest in acquiring Mike Ribeiro from the Nashville Predators. It's not every day that those two teams make a trade, but so is life in the salary cap world.

Also it wouldn't be right if there wasn't another Kris Russell rumour to start off the week. The latest being a one-year deal with the Edmonton Oilers. I still know New Jersey is involved, and Toronto and Montréal, but Edmonton may be edging to the front of this whole thing.

More on that very soon it appears.

I will be updating with stories from the games today. Team Europe versus the Czech Republic at 3pm is of HUGE importance to team USA. Tonight's North America versus Russia game could be one of the best of the tournament, with Russia in a must win situation in North America looking seemingly unbeatable.
