On Spezza....The Flames are the #1 option right now, However, should the Kings lose out on Kovalchuk, look for the Kings to get in.

On Bobby Ryan...Talks have slowed after he reportedly turned down 20+ over 5 years...There is a very real chance Ryan could be given an offer sheet I am told. Teams who may get in on Ryan are Minnesota, Buffalo, NY Islanders, Ottawa.

On Tim Thomas...Word is a trade could be getting much closer than people are thinking.

On Volchenkov...Tim Pannaccio is reporting the Flyers are in on Anton Volchenkov...I am hearing the Sabres, Penguins and Panthers.

On Kaberle...Hearing rumors of a possible deal with the Sharks tonight...Setaguchi and Wallin.

On Savard...the Bruins aren't just worried about the Cap Space, they are also worried about and offer sheet I am told. which is not what I was expecting...oh and btw for those who I confused...the offer sheet the bruins are worried about is obviously NOT Savard, who is under contract.

Predators...Add the Preds to teams who have interest in Marc Savard. Also the Canucks and Wild.

Ny Isles...The Islanders have been trying to land a scoring winger and have had talks with the Panthers about Stephen Weiss. Also look to the Islanders to make a UFA play for Stempniak.
