SABRES WAIVE WRONG CENTRE NAMED TIM |

The natives in Sabreland have been restless all summer long. July 1 came and went with nary a ripple in the free agent pool. Jordan Leopold was signed, despite his recent concussion issues. No PP QB. No top 6 scoring forward.
Today, the team waives a Buffalo native. If the former MSU spartan clears waivers, Buffalo only be on the hook to buy out 1/3 of Kennedy's newly minted, abitrator agreed-to $1 million contract. Kennedy played a solid season in the AHL in 08/09 for coach Kevin Dineen and the Portland Pirates, before earning himself valuable minutes in Buffalo last season.
I don't get it.
Tim Connolly, Buffalo's cat with twelve or thirteen lives, woefully under-performs and stiffs another season and post season, and yet he's still on the Buffalo roster.
WOW!

The Sabres have announced that the club has come to contract terms with veteran Dman, Shaone Morrissonn.
The Buffalo blue line is a mosh pit now that the Sabres say that Captain Craig Rivet will not be lost to the team until November. Rivet's shoulder was surgically repaired after the first round Playoff loss to Boston.
Lydman and Tallinder were shown the plank, leaving Tyler Myers, Chris Butler, Steve Montador, Jordan Leopold, Rivet, and either Sekera or Weber on the Buffalo blue line.
Morissonn is 6'4 215 lbs. He has the hands of a pipe fitter.
