I would be very open to trading Zdeno Chara. I don't think Boston is as bad as they've shown through the first few games but they are not legitimate contenders this season. I think it would benefit them to move Chara while he still has value and get some quality pieces that can help the team moving forward.
With a core headlined by Patrice Bergeron, David Krejci, David Pastrnak and Tuukka Rask it shouldn't take long for the Bruins to right the ship. In saying that I think moving Chara could speed up the process.
Obviously it's up to Chara whether he goes anywhere or not but if he's willing to waive his no-trade clause and there is a solid deal on the table I'm taking it.

It depends on if they want to rebuild or not. With Bergeron - Krejci down the middle and Rask in net they should be able to ice a fairly competitive team for the next few years no matter what they do, but if they don't think they can be competitors then they should blow it up and trade everyone, including Chara.
