It seems the East has a lot in common with chief's mom - rangerdanger94

From Elliotte Friedman's 30 thoughts column:
15. If Chicago had asked about Eric Staal, I wonder what the answer would have been. No doubt, though, the Rangers were his first choice. He wasn’t happy with how long it played out in Carolina. This outcome was the best thing for him, the Rangers and the Hurricanes. It will rejuvenate his career.
16. New York was adamant about not giving up a first-round pick, so Carolina went for two seconds and talented prospect Aleksi Saarela. Two years ago, the Hurricanes hired Eric Tulsky to do some statistical analysis. Here’s an interesting piece he wrote ( http://www.broadstreethoc...aft-pick-value-trading-up) about when you should trade up in the draft, and when you can value two seconds as much a first |

Yes, as opposed to rangerdanger who was able to cripwalk out of his mother's caveronous ham wallet at birth |

What's wrong w the trimmed beard look? I sport the trimmed beard look for many years. - B2B76
I have a beard myself, although a bit fuller. Nothing wrong with beards at all. With the exception of Brass, these guys have the Sonny Crockett look. |

But wouldn't you want it to not be so anymore, once you were done with it? I mean, just seems like this doesn't work out well for you in any capacity.

Growing up half a mile from where Zuke grew up, I always hoped he would end up wearing Blue. NYR was my team since I was about 8.
Was hoping for another move at the deadline, but EStaal and a healthy Zuke could be enough for the big one... |

I don't want to be the pom pom guy & ANYTHING can happen, hell we could hit the wall at the wrong time & miss the playoffs, who knows.
I know we have a lot of playoff experience over the last 4 + years here. So now assuming w Zuc staying healthy & playing his style which we sorely missed last playoffs. Nash back & contributing, E Staal extra motivated being back in the post season & on a contract yr, Hank being Hank & the young pups like Miller, Hayes, yes maybe even Kreider too performing & a always needed dose of a little luck, we can dream about that Stanley Cup thing, oh yes WE CAN! |
