I deal with dolts like that in the Garth thread regularly and want to drop em, but they're not the ones who go overboard, it's usually the people ripping into "him" (that sort of poster) in frustration.

Yeah it's pretty hard to blame posters for being frustrated with Garth. He practically instigates people to get bans by posting inflammatory stuff like he did today. I brought my beef over here instead because I figured this was a common problem in his thread.

Problem is there needs to be a coordinated effort from everyone participating in the thread to ignore the trolls otherwise somebody will engage them and that will be enough for them to keep coming back for weeks. Maybe even months. Look at twittler and alex_oil. They only need <1% of their comments to get a rise out of someone and they will just keep posting the same brutal poop for eternity.
