Problem is there needs to be a coordinated effort from everyone participating in the thread to ignore the trolls otherwise somebody will engage them and that will be enough for them to keep coming back for weeks. Maybe even months. Look at twittler and alex_oil. They only need <1% of their comments to get a rise out of someone and they will just keep posting the same brutal poop for eternity.

We've all been guilty at times. Coordinating an effort like that is virtually impossible anyways because they will essentially converse with themselves in some kinda sick and twisted way. Also there are always some new people around or some outside of the loop who will respond to the trolls regardless of how coordinated we are. But still, ignoring would prob help.

I remember a few months ago when leon got the best of you with his trolling for a while. That was hard to watch, I could pretty much feel your frustration. I rarely even respond to his posts anymore. Like the one today about how desperate I am for attention. Like I need to engage him in that convo... ... why waste my time.
