I think Brossoit is as deserving as any other goalie in consideration with only AHL experience on their resume. The guy was an all star this year and has consistently been improving since we traded for him.

I was reading an article somewhere about how the refs all use there own discretion and they all call the game different. I thought the rules were black and white. Seems like the younger teams take more penalties just because they don't know the refs yet.

Depends on the situation. In the Oilers case you would take a long hard look at that deal that's for sure.

I watched a Calgary game a little while ago and Brodie did not look impressive. Lots of turnovers and mistakes that I've never really seen from him before. Could be just because of the injuries this year though. Haven't watched enough games to say definitively one way or another how good he is. I have just heard lots about him being as my dad is a Flames fan
