I still think Varly is our franchise goalie. When he is on he is REALLY on. Lets not forget who has been carrying this team the past few seasons. I just think if Picks continues to play well it will establish a competition between the two, which is good news for all of us.

I agree with this, Varly is still number 1 but hes struggling right now, he isn't getting the breaks he needs to get his confidence going (3 neutral zone break downs leading to 2-1 & 2 breakaways)

Picks has the skills to carry the team for a while until Varly is refocused, just has a bit of the Yips

Varly carried us for one season, Varly didn't carry us last season, nobody carried us. We were hot garbage all the way threw, except for one glimmer of hope oh yah Calvin Pickard.

Nor this year has Varly carried us, sure hes given us a few spectacular 40 save performances but then comes out next game and stinks it up, hes been very inconsistent since our big year 2 years ago.
