Who's cranky after a west coast win no matter how ugly it is? No such thing as a bad road win |

Should have traded both of them for Hartnell - Vukota
Nah lets keep every draft pick and wait another 10 years for them to mature and make the club. Its been working...

As usual on this thread it's a gross overreaction one way or the other. There's a better way to get one's point across than exaggerating something to make someone else's opinion look less valid IMO. I can't see how anyone would be OK with trading either let alone both for Hartnell? I'm all for adding a player like Hartnell but not at that cost. I have to believe he would have came a lot cheaper than that especially with his contract. |

Semantics..........i would be ok with parting with a prospect for a player who will make an impact come playoff time. After ALL THE YEARS of drafting, and prospects, are they ALL going to make the team? The answer is no. Even if Hartnell wasnt the answer, you cant keep planning for the future after 10 years of planning. At some point, i'd like to see the isles be buyers. I know this convo is stale, but the bottom line is come playoff time the isles woulda been better with a rostered player like Hartnell than a prospect playing in juniors. |

I think we're delving way too far into what was a sarcastic comment. Nobody is serious about trading top prospects for Hartnell and if they are they should be strapped to a rocket and fired into the sun. |

I think they need to be buyers, but I don't think Hartnell is/was the answer. |

I agree with this but at what cost? There's not a (frank)ing chance in hell I'm trading either of those kids for Hartnell. There's a snowball chance in hell that was the asking price. It would be a beyond lopsided request. |

I was all for adding Hartnell just not for those kind of prospects. It needs to be a better forward than Hartnell. |
