I accidentally reported this. I have an itchy trigger finger.

It's an interesting concept. I don't care enough to look but there is a chart that the NFL GM's use to determine the value of a pick if another team wants to try and trade up in the draft.

edit: OK, I cared. There's a point value assigned to each pick.

Yeah so basically, if you are the GM of a team picking 4th overall and you want to trade up to the 2nd overall you would have to put together a package of picks equaling the 2600pt value for pick #2

So you'd have to take #4 (1800pts), your 2nd rounder, 36th (540pts), 3rd rounder, 68th (250pts) which would give you 2590pts.
