I think it was more like we had a chance to offer a contract, until we heard he was granting interviews.

At that point, I think everyone said (frank) off.

I don't think management even made the trip to see him.

I just hate when everyone gets all hot over a guy like Stankos and then get so disappointed when it doesn't happen. It's just not good for your health to get jacked up like that. There will be only ONE reason he signs here and that will be because he is all about the money and we pay more .... plenty more than anyone else.

Remember..... we will likely be a bottom 5 team this year .. so any aurgument that we are so much better a destination because of our potential/roster will be taken with a grain of salt.
