It is acceptable if she was out of thin mints.
- johndewar

I used to love Thin Mints. Then they made them vegan and changed the recipe. I'm now a Samoas (or whatever they're called now) man.

What did she do last night to make you snap?
- jmatchett383

She butted into a dispute between two other people (one of which was a friend of mine who was sitting with me at a table) and started making it worse. At one point she said that saying someone was "rolling over in their grave" was discriminatory. I started out telling her she didn't have any idea what that word meant and ended up going into a five minute tirade in a restaurant/bar. When I was done she looked at me and said "Why don't you go play some hockey." and looked at her friend and laughed... and it just blurted out of my mouth.

Does he/do you have any interest in him going further?
- jmatchett383

He has an offer to play at Penn State Berks but he's not sure he wants to go to college at all.

Here's the recap of what Hextall said at last night's STH meeting for those who missed it at the end of the last thread.

Thanks.

So Hexy predicts one prospect up in october(provorov) and likely another one during the year(morin)?

The generic ones in the grocery store are just as good and half as cheap. Plus you don't have to help the Girl Scouts

not a particularly good movie, but I did have a crush on Cynthia Gibb back in the day.

I applaud you sir. I'm all for being a gentleman but hey, it's 2016, it should go both ways.

That was tremendous. Ghost Derek Sutton during the Youngblood penalty shot was goddamned inspired.
- johndewar

Yeah the grocery store I go to has their own brand and they are delicious. Those Samoans know a thing or two.

He has no idea. He's gone through so many different ideas this year that he's completely confused himself.

Always liked Youngblood. It was a quintessential '80's flick. It had Swayze. A training montage. Synthesizer music. The whole bit.

The hockey stuff was fun.....Carl Racki was Brian Burke's prototype for truculence.

Back when he was on the Flyers, Peter Zezel was in that flick as one of the players on the Mustangs.

No. He's never really been into school. I'm not throwing that kind of money away unless he's serious about it.

psu berks wouldnt be a bad place to start if he is undecided...going to school for something pointless is probably worse than not going to school

He asked me to help him but in this case I can't tell him what to do with the rest of his life. I made some suggestions to get him started. Go to bartending school to keep cash in your pocket and take some classes at the local community college until he figures it out. I went to college for computer science and ended up graduating with a fine arts degree.

They aren't offering much. Not enough to make it something he can't turn down. They'll basically get him in the school despite his grades and enough to pay for three credits a semester.

He might be one of those kids who just needs to go to work for a year or two, even if its only to find out what he DOESNT want to do for the rest of his life.

I helped him get the pooptiest part time job I could, thinking it would prompt him to make up his mind. All it did was panic him. He's stuck the job out for a year and is ready to get a different job now. He refs youth hockey when ever he can.

How did uncle Lou manage to move 11 players and a 5th off of a crappy Leafs team and load up on expiring contracts and picks?
