Another good sign is they take the lead and are piling on, and the players to do it with

8 goals in 2 games

Love playing the Wings...real hockey - two high end skating/scoring teams...the way the game is meant to be played. Hardly any stoppages and limited TV timeouts - but just end to end with a ton of speed and defense with some great chances...

That being said a gutless play by Ericsson this evening...hope Desi is ok he really got run...shocked he's not concussed.

Thought Ehrhoff played ok...that puck was rolling on him when he was trying to score on the play.

But Ladder gets a goal tonight. Is it just me or does Toews look like a different player with Ladd out there on his wing?

Assuming Darling gets the net tomorrow night and back with Craw on Sunday...

I've said it before here. He's gonna be in. Especially if he has 4 or 5 cups to his name.

I think after tonight he's also a lock for that Canadian WC roster...

- TheCore

Love Seabs but he's not HOF material. Hawks HOF guys right now are 19/2/88 and maaaaaaaaybe 81. HOF is the HOF, not retired numbers in the UC.

Well that game is sure gonna sit well...

...kinda like pork chops with applesauce with a side of asparagus.

Ahhhhh...

Good job boys...

I was NOT criticizing the Hawks...

... just pissed another shot found it's way past CC in garbage time.

I'd luv for CC to win the Vez...and watch the haters cry.

You're right.

Nice game tonight. Sweet little play by Moose to steal that puck, thought TT looked good along with Fleischmann, 4th line even with Mashinter with some nice zone time and a few chances. KaneGB on fire again, AA doing his thing and Kane and Panarin are just filthy together.

And to think that two of the most important players on the team are still out. The 4 lines Q can roll once Hossa and Kruger come back are going to be insane.

Maybe he doesn't make it but there are defenceman in there now like Larry Murphy, Laperriere, Housley, Lapointe, Langway, Housley. I don't think Seabs takes a back seat to them individually.

And there is a reason Savard, Robinson and Lapointe are all in there - they played on great teams that won Cups. Keep on winning Cups Seabs you will get there.

Q was rolling 4 lines in the third. He will roll 3 when he is trying to build a lead. LBR, who would we all like to see get more ice time in that case. Toews' line and Kane's or the 4th?

Edit. Misread your post. I got your point.

Panik can play a bit. How the hell was he playing for the Marlies and not the Leafs?

Whomever is finding these guys (Panik, Desi) is doing a heck of a job.

Not sure if you heard this story but I read it somewhere after the Final last season. When Desy was traded here he asked for a bunch of videos so he could study what was was expected of him.

Rough Night at the dot for the boys.

toews 10/19

Moose 4/7

Teets 5/14

Anis 4/15 (27%) 1/5 in the offensive zone.

- TheCore

TT was a FUGLY 1/6 in the D-Zone, including a loss on the 2nd albeit meaningless Det goal.

GOOD ROAD W though. On to Beantown.

Hossa is one of the great two way players the game has ever seen. That is not a homer opinion, it's an opinion held by most people whose opinions are trusted and valued. The man is a surefire HOFer. Plus, he parted the red sea.

Yup.

Weise in the Lineup should mean some changes here and some good looks.

WTF line should see action.

I'm excited to see the new look 4th line.

DESI RAZ PANIK should be a really effective line that will hold its own until Krugs/Hoss return.

No more lumpy potatoes combined with the added physicality and addition by subtraction(despite Mash's better play the last two games) of Weise should look good against Boston.

they're on a roll for sure but maybe when the playoffs start they won't have anything left in the tank.
