Berger posted some scans from an old Hockey News from the week they won that cup. Leafs were one cup away from sharing the lead all time. If they only knew how bad it would be in the (frank)ing DECADES afterwards
- weirdoh

Leafs had 13 back then and the Habs 14?

damn...10-0 for the Habs since. At least the Leafs will close the gap in the next decade, they should be good for at least 5 maybe 6 cups.

The fact they won as many as they did really is a miracle considering the overwhelming advantage the League gave the Habs back then.

Drew Storen. Quality reliever. Has great stuff. Come September/October however, he seems to not have the stones.

Here's another question - Wilson Ramos will miss the next 10 days recovering from Lasik surgery - was there no time from October until February to undergo this procedure?

- hscesq

Just needed what the Jays needed.. Now Sanchez can move to the rotation. They also have Saunders, Pompey and Dom Brown as LF options.

An entire game is, for sure. Yesterday I watched the last 3 mins of regulation, and then OT. Quite entertaining.

As long as he doesn't have to pitch in September; should be fine.

You ever have a conversation with somebody who has a (frank)ed up eye? I mean one that is not even looking the same direction within 45 degrees? Every time I run into somebody like that I always look into that (frank)ing eye. Then i don't want be rude and switch to the good eye because I think they can see me do that. Then when I do, I always talk about the weather.

It's Saunders spot to lose. By the looks of it, he'll be hurt again at some point.

Yes, it happened to me lately.

And not only that, when I shook the guy's hand, he had 3 fingers cut after the first joint.
