Uncle Lou couldn't resist one last chance to stick it to the Rangers before he officially retires. - Fenrir
I’ve met Lou Lams. Great guy. I’m sure he didn’t take the job just to stick it to the Rangers but I’m sure he’s happy he’ll be sticking it to the Rangers. He HATES you guys. I understand. No offense... |

Big Day for the Islanders Organization. L and M deserve credit here. Things can only improve from here.
8 years available from the Islanders and Lou running the show, JT should be confident.
Fingers Crossed. - nyisles7
I'm gonna wait and see how this all shakes out before I celebrate, but it's obviously great news.
As I posted over in the Rangers thread, I have a weird feeling Snow gets kicked upstairs to some executive position being the owners' slave-mule, Lou takes the President job and goes shopping for a GM. Maybe Hunter comes with him or they try and get Fitzgerald. Purely my own speculation, but I could live with that. |

Lets be honest. If the fans didn't borderline start a revolt against this team basically forcing change I think things would have stayed the same. I'm not giving credit to something that should have been done 2 years ago, plus we still don't know what that slobs role will be going forward |

Exactly. Hire Hunter and let snow be the GM of the Jr. Islanders |

As long as he doesn't quit after a month and Ricky D takes over, this is good news. |

Agree Chief.
Pretty much give him a non decisive roll.
If he wants to prove himself he will go out and get another job. However we know what a lazy fat phuck he is so.....
I think it’s the plan. Just like what just happened in Carolina.
It started already if you think about it. Snow was scouting and Lou was taking care of the most important issue at hand. |

Same role given to Fracis in Carolina. Look how much he liked that

Botta tweeted out that this only happened because of the fans.

It took a while after I told Ledecky I was very concerned with Garth and Cappy but it finally happened. Great job by all Isles fans and especially the billboard people. |

I'm waiting to hear the specifics, but there's no doubt this is a good day for Islander fans. |
