So if Ottawa ends up trading/losing Duchene, Stone and Dzingel in the near future, they will likely need to take on a couple poopty contracts to hit the cap floor next year.
Is that our golden opportunity to get rid of Zaitsev's contract? I know Doroin wouldn't be to keen on helping us out in that situation but added picks might entice him into doing so, since they will be in full rebuild. |

It is much better to suck to rid yourself of any potential Cap issues - before you lose any sleep.
Seed the NHL with quality players who go on to do amazing things, and make the world a better place - Leafs are the Canada of the NHL.
Most of the Oilers 1st rounders ended up being deported...there's a difference. |
