lol. I had no idea. So I went looking into it and it’s hilarious. What makes me laugh the most is Bud Light has been considered a “queer beer” since 1977. A bit of history for the triggered…

“LGBTQ+ groups started to prefer Bud Light after a 1977 protest against Coors, a rival beer brand. Queer people boycotted Coors after learning of its discriminatory hiring practices, which included forcing applicants to undergo polygraph tests and asking them about their sexual orientation. Harvey Milk, the first openly gay man to be elected to public office in California, brokered a deal with owners of gay bars in San Francisco to not stock Coors, and soon, Bud Light became the choice queer beer.

Bud Light’s popularity with the queer community is not just a result of its rival’s discriminatory policies, it is also among the cheapest beers available. Hence, for a community which often lacks financial security and stability, it is an obvious choice.”

Interesting story. And the best part, Kid Rock and his ilk have been drinking a “queer beer” for all these years and they had no idea until it was made obvious to them. classic stupid intolerance.

I think it’s a good thing but my only issue is that every single manufacturing job in Canada goes to Ontario. Does Canada actually manufacture anything outside of Ontario?

You do understand the proximity of Southern Ontario to the NA market right? I mean if they put it in PQ everything would be labelled in French only.

You think location is the reason to place all of Canada’s manufacturing jobs in Ontario? How close is China to the US? Distance is no longer the barrier it once was for trade. Hell, when I go to the grocery store I’m noticing more and more of my “fresh” produce is coming from Asia.

More than 90 percent of Canadians live within 150 miles of the US border. You put a manufacturing plant in any Canadian city and it can get its product into the US within hours.

I think it’s more to do with politics than geography.

I see our good friend Tucker Carlson lost his job this morning. I guess when your lies cost the company that employs you a whopping $800M in settlements (not counting your own legal fees) they have a valid reason for terminating your ass

I love how Fox lawyers defend Tucker by arguing that he engages in "exaggeration" and "non-literal commentary."

Plus Fox has 2 other pending lawsuits from what I've read (one from stakeholders, another from another voting machine company for 2.6 bill)...

Re:Tucker's/Fox's lawyers... also love how they basically say anyone with a normal level of intelligence wouldn't truly believe what he says basically anyone who believes him is an idiot, from their own lawyers and legal defense. Love it.

It's a left wing libtard/media push to silence the voices of true American heroes like Carlson, but they don't understand the revolution they're unearthing. Pretty soon all the Questions will be answered. Tick tock baby

Apparently he has a non-compete clause in his contract. We may not see him that soon after all.

Ya just listed to the The Daily episode about him and they mentioned that.

Probably a good thing we don't hear about/from him for a long while. Though I'm sure there's going to be a new "Tucker" in a few years anyways...

I did read something interesting about him being the first witness called in the lawsuit against Rupert Murdoch's company due to them getting ahold of his personal text messages.

In short, the texts said how much he hated Fox for making him say all that BS and how much he hated Trump.

The Daily does a good overview of it all, and sort of educatedly speculates what actually got him fired: not the crazy conspiracies, not the lawsuit settlement, but the toxic/misogynistic environment he created (and the pending lawsuit from it) and off air issues:

https://www.nytimes.com/2...-news-tucker-carlson.html

Basically they were fine all the way through what he was saying, didn't fire him through the entire 2ish year lawsuit... but they fired their other big time names (including Bill O'Reilly) over the workplace environment issues as well. More to do with his off-camera conduct than the bullpoop he said on air.

Listen to the podcast, it gives a pretty good run down. It's like 25 minutes. If I remember correctly from this morning he felt as if he had a ton of power at Fox and could write whatever he wanted – and often did. I don't think anyone was telling him what exactly to say, he was just saying things that his fan base wanted to hear – and he told them to keep the power he had.

Thanks for posting that. I love the fact that pickleball is becoming a contentious issue. The comment section is hilarious.

This isn't political at all. However I'm truly grateful for the laughter and entertainment Trump has provided. I would like to see him get back into office purely for this reason.
