Agree. I think Pittsburgh will understand a rebuild...to a point. But they won't get behind a mediocre team. This city is championship or bust, and if you don't have a path to that with your roster, they'd just as soon blow it up.

I don't remember the exact rationale, but I don't believe it was just depending on young talent, but if I recall correctly they think they can continue to bring players in that can keep them competitive.

Maybe its because Ek realizes he gets people posting and arguing with him which in turn keeps people on the site longer.

It's possible Aussie wasn't permanent and just never did come back. There's quite a few guys that have completely disappeared from here.

Must admit, moved to Alabama from the DC area back in 96. I was 20 at the time. Moved to the absolute sticks in south Alabama. Talk about culture shock. I’ve worked all over the states, but home is in the Birmingham metro area.
