If it's been 5 games, 1-3-1. yay! - Tonybere
And clearly due to the lack of energy in the locker room before the game. I think it’s 1-4-1 |

Drury hasn't yet fired Gallant, or also possibly any to all of his bench coaching staff likely due to him being in fear of being canned by James Dolan. Drury was the one after all who fired David Quinn and brought in Gallant, though GG not being Drury's first option then. He needs to be held accountable greater so in part for some of his offseason roster construction & holes remaining despite him cap strapping it then to about the cap ceiling.
His exception being the Trocheck signing after losing Copp & Strome as like UFA's for which he had no control over their situations; & seeing the team's urgent need for faceoff success. (Had his team leading 10 goal posts or crossbars struck to date instead been goals, he would have at least 15 goals now; with the Rangers likely leading the NHL in that bad puck luck stat.) But the team needs to play harder with energy & emotion, & be willing to compete hard to help in part reverse that bad puck luck & much more. That's on Gallant to lead the way despite him misstating after the last new low point Sat. night that they did that, while Captain Trouba of key said otherwise.
Emily Kaplan of ESPN made it known on or just after Thanksgiving weekend of Dolan monitoring last month the entire Rangers situation, and being in person at MSG games in believing he was focusing his concern mainly on Gallant. She added that Dolan was however away during the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend, & not present for the disastrous loss to the Oilers.
Its believed Dolan's frustrations expanded after the Rangers lost the final 3 games of a 4 game home stand starting Nov. 1st with a 1-0 OT win vs. the Flyers, succeeded by 3 losses, first 5-2 to the Bruins, & late blown lead losses to the Wings 3-2 in OT, & the Isles 4-3 dropping them to 6-5-3 then. The latter two losses dictated respectively by poor officiating in OT & late regulation.
So we shall see if Dolan gets involved again, but this time due to a REAL DESPERATE situation, unlike him going ballistic with his unnecessary canning of Gorton & J.D. only due to their rebuilt roster lacking a tough guy or two the result in key of the Tom Wilson incident. Dolan could have demanded that desire to them earlier to protect his investment on the ice. |

I am so happy, he is my favorite player in baseball
A lot of people hate the 11 years but it kept the AAV at 27 million so they can get better around him, gave him the Harper contract
At least you got Verlander haha |

Yeah, but 11 YEARS in length for that $300M total deal?
The holdup with Judge not signing yet is due to he seeking a 9 year deal according to some MLB experts out in San Diego currently at the Winter Meetings. Who knows what the true total dollar amount he wants is, unless the holdup is waiting to see how much his hometown team in S.F. will go up to, so he can play out West.

Love it keeps the AAV down so they can add around him. I don’t care about 10 years from now, he was getting 8 or 9 years no matter what |

Welcome back. It’s all my fault people left - picklerick
Thanks for the "welcome back."
It's your fault why people left? Really? What did you incite, or is it some other reason I missed out on? Or is it possibly due to the Rangers disappointing first quarter start to the season, after what was expected coming in based on last season's GG past like coaching results in his first year wherever he's coached just about?

I’m not sure Laf is good enough for the AHL let alone the NHL
The only time he’s noticeable is when he takes a penalty |
