Not a knock on Rempe at all he’s been awesome but at a certain point you want some more experience in the lineup and the other guys need to be able to ignite the crowd.

I agree NYR fought til the end and they deserved the win (pending Toms chart). But he wasn't wrong, they attempted to clear many times and kept failing. It significantly added to the stress as an observer.

I was a little surprised Lavy didn't have Trocheck out there for the faceoff with 1:41 to go. But, he went with his trusted defensive players: Trouba, Lindgren, Kreids, Mika and Wennberg.
Those failed clearing attempts were simply because they gave all they had in the fight. Kreider could barely take a stride in the final 25 seconds.

Brodz got in some games in 2022 run, did he not? We sat Reaves about halfway thru the carolina series that year because it became obvious he couldn't keep up. Might be a similar situation this year
