Sammy had one just hit him, after being fired in from center ice after the goal. Where was his concentration? It may be Woll time, but Keefe won't do it. Ride or die on a slightly flawed keeper.

I am convinced he was distracted by what was going on with Marchand and Bertuzzi on Frederic's goal.

I thought that also… kinda the entire ice was waiting for the whistle … except Frederic…

I mean, there are rumors that he has a concussion, that's a pretty legit excuse.

I think he was more of a hindrance than anything else.
- shack67

Hes clearly not 100%.... and being asked to do too much.
Minimize his mins until 100%

I agree. It's just one more example of poor decisions and breakdown in focus and game management. They beat themselves.

Keefe’s gotta go.

Most likely the first order of business when we finish. The whole staff, I suspect

It HAS to be a complete squad wipe if they don't get past Boston. Otherwise you have to seriously question who is calling the shots and why.

Boston’s first goal was weak.
- shack67

That’s why I said one goal against was m’eh but that goal never should have happened between Matthews being mugged behind the Boston net and Bertuzzi being tripped - he tried to sell it too hard.

It is, I get it.

You just have MT trying to play with a broken sternum.

I remember Muzzin demolishing Krug into the boards with no helmet head first last time they played in the first round..Krug didn’t miss a game and it was reported he played the entire cup run(all the way to finals) with a concussion.

Look I get it, I don’t expect him to play but it’s just leafy and I’m mad about it. I just wish we had players who played with concussions like other teams. It’s just leafy that doctors and trainers have to force other stars off the ice but Willy just forces himself to sit.

For a playoff game as an original 6 team?

Yeah it was the worst crowd of the playoffs so far.

Kind of meh is charitable. More like "Joe Nieuwendyk on Patrick Lalime (frank)ing awful". Same goal. But yeah, goaltending not the main issue. Bad special teams and poor decisions. Add it up, typical Leaf playoff loss - found ways to lose a very winnable game.
- fifty__missions

You should know by now I’m ALWAYS charitable to goalies. Lol

I’m listening to Keefe’s post game and he’s struggling not to get fined talking about Marchand. If I was him honestly I’d just ask Shanny if I can go off and have MLSE cover my fine. lol

The corporate swine being able to write off the tickets as a business expense keeps real fans out of the building and also keep ticket prices ridiculous. I remember buying Gold tickets for the playoffs, in the late '80's for $25.00 at Maple Leaf Gardens.

This has been Toronto crowds forever. Too expensive for the real fans to attend. I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary tonight.

I’ve watched most games this playoffs.

The canes building is insane, best crowd by far.

Jets crowd is fantastic.

The leafs crowd is just brutal. We are always the worst.

You’ve posted a lot of stupid poop here but this might just be the stupidest.

I wish we had players who played when they had a concussion? Seriously?
