Hank is probably my favorite Ranger of all time. I just wish he was able to win a championship. I hated when people would say "the only reason the Rangers are contenders is because they have Hank." Well guess what, he is part of the team, so of course! How would the Penguins have been without Crosby?

We have been extremely fortunate to watch Richter/Hank/Shesty start the majority of games every year for 33 of the past 35 years.

Igor is only signed through next year. I hope they can extend him long term. I'd be happy with something like 6 to 8 years for 8 or 9M. He might command more than that though. Not sure what the limit is that we should offer. 10M per? Price and Bobrovsky are the only ones at that number.

And I'm comfortable paying that. I'd rather have a top 5 goalie than gamble on performance each year. Igor had a slump this year but he is still very much capable of stealing big games.
