I just typed out a nice response. The site then refreshed which erased it. You are going to have to trust me on this but with that post you lost this debate.

It would make the Toronto exits even funnier

It would be even funnier if it were some type of auction and everyone kept bidding to face Toronto.

Things not looking good for the Canes. Freddy is one of the reasons I was worried about their chances.

Good team with mid goaltending. If the Isles had a few finishers, they would have probably advanced. Rags won't run into a truly "great" team until the Finals. West is better this year.

If the Panthers don't fold against the Bruins like they did in game 1 and are able to get out of that series, they're going to be an extremely hard out for NYR or CAR. They really have everything you could possibly want in a playoff team.

Before Game 1 I said the same thing. Boston seems to be overcoming their deficiencies. Florida needs assert themselves moving forward. As you said, they have everything to get it done this year, however a hot goalie (swayman) can steal a series.

Canes seem soft for playoff hockey as well.

Game one and Florida losing 5-1 was a shock.

I wouldn't count the Canes out yet. They could wear the rangers down with that relentless style of play. I don't think it's likely, but it could happen.

They're not even close to out of it. They carried most of the played yesterday, Shesterkin just stood on his head. Obviously the final score is all that matters, but it's not like they're playing poorly.

This is true, but Freddy is not ready for the bigtime.

Funny thing is rangers outplayed them game 1 and canes game 2 but not by much. Rangers have the better specials and goaltending. Even at 5v5 they lead xGF. Canes wear themselves out with all their empty calorie shots. Panthers and avs worry me most

That was my only concern really. I said if they lose it’s because of goaltending. With that said I didn’t watch last nights game so I have no idea if that were the case.

The Canes did what they do and shot all the time. The rangers held in and won.

what would we have to give up to get Marner? Pulock or Pelech and a pick?
