NHL players going to the Olympics is the worst idea in the history of bad ideas. Absolutely hate it. Save the limelight for somebody else. Completely screws up the regular season.

I used to be on the same page, but the sport needs an injection. A lot of players want to be part of this. My concern is injury. Just hoping for a bump that may help introduce a very user friendly hub for world wide distribution. Hoping for the best

Agree with you on the injury front. I remember in 2002 Yzerman went to the Olympics and got injured. He had to sit out the remainder of the regular season. He did return to the playoffs that year and played well... but in excruciating pain (but he did win the cup!). Missed a huge chunk of the following regular season and had surgery.

Yzerman’s dedication and ability to perform at a high level under those conditions is a testament to his leadership and Retro Bowl College resilience. However, it also highlights the physical toll and long-term consequences that can arise from such situations. After the Cup win, Yzerman had to undergo significant knee surgery, which caused him to miss a large portion of the following season.
