To get back on topic, Tim Thomas is an idiot. Not even necessarily for his views, everyone is entitled to their opinions, but for constantly putting them at the forefront. I can't think of a single modern-day athlete who is so overt with stating their political view.

Possibly..... But we all have the right to freedom of speech, religion etc. No different then a lot of other people who religious views seem to breed intolerance. Pick any religion.... Any of them and u will find mass intolerance to some group of people. Best thing to do is shut the hell up and keep your opinions to yourself. That goes for TT too. Some are just more opinionated than others, and that's their right, as it is Thomas's to express himself his way. There is no "normal" way for Athletes to conduct themselves, and nor should there be. I bet if he was a HUGE Obama supported the "media" would be tripping over themselves to tell us how they love him.
