I'm still at bit dismayed at Rust. He must have had 2 or 3 scoring chances he completely flubbed or got robbed.

But all in all, a nice recovery from an ugly first. We know what the pens are capable of and as long as goaltending isn't swiss cheese bad, this team can change the complexion of the game in a matter of minutes.

Murray is 9-1 after a loss in the playoffs. Game 2 was hardly his fault. The Penguins issues are ride or dying on special teams, and the pathetic 4th line.

There Are teams in these playoffs just killing the first round. We still need to be better in all areas. But great win, win when they needed it. Home ice restored. Business as usual.

A lot of people on here whined about the refs last game. It's just NHL officiating. It comes in waves for everyone.

It's a lot of the same guys complaining to each other here too. Nobody really liked the call on ZAR and at least some hated the dive on Horny, but other then that I didn't notice much otger than the normal suspects like taleisyre who always complain about the refs. Maybe I missed some stuff though.

Yeah, Murray came up huge in that first period. The Flyers came out strong while the Penguins were scrambling all over the place. If it wasn't for him the Pens would have been down early.

The Pens finally found their legs and got the PP working.

it would require Elliot being superhuman, pens PP going stone cold, and the flyers top crew somehow balancing out the pens crew. A lot of variables would need to fall in line just like game2.
