Grossmann was down in LR area after game. He hopes to start skating on Sunday. No update on Briere.

If it is really "back spasms" I suspect there has to be a way to calm that down enough to have Danny B. on the ice for round 1. I suspect he will want to go as bad as anyone. Hopefully he can lace them up when the thing starts. Be nice to get JVR and Mezzy back too. I am hoping there is some truth to the "Mezzy is ahead of schedule" rumors.

Did anyone catch the Torterella comments after the game last night after one of his guys got taken out after a knee on knee hit?
Called Geno and Crysby the their two stars are whining babies or little whining stars or something to that effect, classic.

I saw Tort's rant this am.. and I agree with him.. One thing I was wondering was whether or not Orpik may be suspended a couple games and miss time in the playoff series.. that would be sweet justice after the Pens Hurt two Flyers and now tried to hurt one of the Rangers.. Cmon Shanny.. get er done.

One could only hope but if he gets any suspension it will be for a game.
