Shame Kaleta isn't going to play, wanted to see him get taken off unconscious
Get the 2 points and take their supposed new found toughness in the process.
Ott, you're up
Hey Ryan, keep your head up and try not to wander this time, k

Gotta love Sanderson back in those days. Reminds me of bob uecker from major league. "Neely just stiffened him a shot" (and another jack and coke for me).
Should be a fun game. Brave Steve is going to have a target
I'm fine with that. Might be good for Bourque to watch before getting back in the line-up - bruinsbeer69
Agree.
Clooooooooode thinks he's putting too much pressure on himself, and from what I've seen of him in the AHL, I've gotta agree ... The kid can do it. He just needs to settle down and play his game.
Great game to rotate MacDermid in regardless, though

Thumbs up indeed. Plus Lane can be the first guy off the bench when the time comes to clear it. Grind the Sabres into fine powder. I guess tonight is the night Myers will not be able to escape.

The Sabres are building their team to compete against our physical.domineering make-up.
If that isn't a compliment to Harvard, and Cam, then I don't know what is.

Yup.
This team was assembled because of Lucic running Miller over last season.
Hope he does it again tonight
Tonight is a must-win ... Can't let the Slugs gain any edge or confidence in their new-found nutsack. A Buffalo loss tonight = a failed attempt last summer to answer the Bruins toughness.
"The Buffalo Sabres effectively went out and acquired John Scott in free agency for games like Thursday night's tilt with the Boston Bruins, so its understandable that most of the discussion leading up to this affair is about whether they'll finally be able to win the toughness battle. I'd suggest no. The Bruins' tough guys aren't hampered by marginal utility. As Kevin Bieksa once said about John Scott, "If a 6-foot-8 guy who can’t skate asks to fight, you say no, then skate around him and score a goal."
