You have seven NHL defenseman there...I wouldnt consider your AHL guys or Rielly in that list. Likely nothing more than a depth move.

Yeah they are.... but seriously, I think Eakins will do good for them. Seems to be making the right moves so far.

Why would he get Lucky to trade Franson? Teams will be lined up to grab him from the Leafs. He's not going anywhere....I hope.

One would think, despite my previous comment, that hes looking to move other bodies...I didnt consider the amount of cap space they have (6.6M)...signing Ranger, Kadri, Franson, and Fraser would be preeeetty difficult imo. Plus I suppose they could have plans for Brennan to play with the big squad over the Marlies...

I'm sitting up here in an arena in Vaughan watching Pietrangelo work out along with Caputi and Murphy and a few others. Just dreaming.......Man does this kid look good. Team Canada material for sure.
