Bargain Bob once again silenced the doubters and haters. Overall, he continues to do a great job adding but not subtracting major pieces. According to his team address, he may want to resign Pirri and Mcginn at seasons end if it makes sense for both sides.
Sucks to see Maroon go, a great story and teammate but just wasnt consistent enough. Upgrade for sure.
Happy with the deadline. Now, I expect a crazy summer and some healthy returns.
Goodluck to Tim Jackman. |

Love the deals -
Pirri - always liked his game - going to fit like a glove I believe -
McGinn - what's not to like - tough- can score - hard to play against and not slow .. or as slow as Patty - good luck to Pat - was solid Duck -

Going to miss Maroon, but I understand why things happened today. Pirri for a 6th rounder!! 6th rounder has just over a 15% chance to be a NHL'er. To pull that off for someone that "could" work out. Nice pickup. Always loved Tim Jackman. Hope he gets to play with the big club on Chicago. |

yea, right after a goal is taken away unjustly. Clear B.S. Good luck with the App! Your fan base is a disgrace if you have to use an App to get your fans to clap and cheer. - arh777
Shouldn't have been a powerplay to begin with. Plus, it was the ref's call, not Ducks fans.
Sorry your feelings are hurt :'( |

Feel bad for Maroon though. I think more of a salary move, frees up another 2 million going forward.
Agree about the pick ups. With Stewart out for at least another month, McGinn immediately replaces Ritchie, and Ritchie will move down to the 4th line and replace Maroon. Come the playoffs, the Ducks will have a glut of proven players. Nice problem to have should anyone get injured. |

The play was clearly offside. Gotta get the helium out of Kopi's skate. But I still hate the review. I mean, if the Ducks can't clear the puck in 30 seconds then they deserve to be scored on. The rule is the rule though, and Boudreau played his card perfectly. It should be changed to only reviewing goals scored directly on the rush. After all that time elapses the offside call is moot in my mind.
Now, how the hell the officials didn't give the Kings the time back I'll never understand. It's just ridiculous, and it makes the game seem completely unfair. Imagine if the Kings had scored to come within one goal. That 30 seconds would have looked awful. |

Your constant rant about visiting fans is boring, and really childish. Visiting fans have flocked to Duck games since day one. Why wouldn't they? Most are transplants that now live in Orange County. (Orange County is a really really really nice place to live). Nothing has changed. Only the fans have changed. If their team is doing good, they show up. If their team is crappy, their fans stay away. Has never changed, and it never will. King fans have only showed up in mass the last 5 years (and mass means maybe 6000 fans). There will always be a good # of King fans at the Honda Center regardless of how good they are, because the Kings have been around almost 30 years longer then the Ducks. |

When your argument after a loss is that your fans are better, you're not really a hockey fan. I mean, even if you win the argument, who cares? Have some self respect. The Kings have finally stopped sucking after years of ineptitude. They boast one of the best goalies, one of the best defensemen, and one of the best forwards in the league. They have won two Cups.
The rivalry is strong. The fans hate each other. The games between the teams are epic. But to argue what goes on in the stands over what happens on the ice is juvenile.
That said, since your last Cup, it looks like the Ducks are 6-0-2 against the Kings over the past two regular seasons. The Kings couldn't even pull it together to meet the Ducks in the playoffs last season, so we don't have anything to go on there. Hopefully the Ducks and Kings finish 2nd and 3rd so the Kings can have another long summer to brush up on their golf games...or their drug taking....or their wife beating. Ya know, whatever it is they like to do. Hey, maybe Lucic can even give a Duck a death threat in the typically gentlemanly handshake line after his defeat. Is there a dumber player in the league? |
