Meh... why do anything drastic until you know where you are drafting.

That's my point. Either he addresses the issues this summer, starts a rebuilding process or simply resigns.

The most disappointing aspect of Bergevin's whole tenure is the development (or lack thereof) of their prospects. The whole mishandling of Galchenyuk is the most obvious. Drafted as a center, sold to us by Bergevin via the media that he's the "big skilled center" the team needs for the future etc. So what does Therrien do? He says "we'll start him on the wing to get him used to the game". Get him used to the game? are you kidding me? The kid has yet to step on NHL ice and our coaching staff is already clearly stating that they do not trust him. What a way to stamp a player's confidence right off the bat. Now here we are 4 years later and we still don't know if he's a center or a winger. Seriously what other organization does that? For once in a long time the Habs get to draft a top 3 talent and they are to this day, still trying to ruin it.

If I were a young player about to get drafted I'd be scared to death of getting picked by the habs.

Isn't that a recurring theme for the last 20 years or so?
