Absolute must game tomorrow. You simply cannot lose games to teams like Edmonton if you want to make the playoffs.

Bill,

You do amazing work. It is a daily routine to sit, enjoy my coffee, and read your blog on the Flyers.

You're never over the top, always even keel and it is always appreciated by me, and I know so many others.

Keep on doing what you do!!

Very much agreed on Ghost and Goalie topics...I have thought that way for a while. Makes me feel great about Hextall. Goalies I think there is not a single problem and we are lucky to have them both signed to what we do (see: Dallas)

I have always struggled with goal support for a goalie...what makes a tangible difference or anything like that. (thinking of the discrepancy between Brodeur and Schneider). I view Mason as the superior puck handler, which you might think would lead to more goal support

Totally disagree. Over rated. Doesnt play a 200 foot game. Not elite. Should trade for another blogger while his value is high. GID Ek.

Bill's value is in the shootouts, which will make him useful come playoff time.

Well, if they make the playoffs that means they beat very good teams consistantly in these last 20 games and to which would make them dangerous in the playoffs. However, I would rather them loseout and get a better pick! win win for me

Through no fault of his own, McDavid is going to be virtually shoved down the public's throat in the same fashion Sidney Crosby was upon his NHL arrival.

No. Doubt. Can't wait to see McDavid tomorrow, however.

But you knew, if McDavid came back and did much of anything, it was going to get blown up in the media North of the border.

I guess they need something to write about up there, because there will likely be a dearth of Canadian based teams in the playoffs this year. And by dearth, I mean possibly no teams.

Also, RE: Ghost. Eventually....Hextall might have to pay that guy. No use in giving Ghost's agent any help he doesn't need.

Well, if it came down to us or the Penguins making the playoffs, I would love to see the Flyers keep the Pens out of the post season. They play 3 more times. It would be wonderful if the Flyers yearly dominance of the Pens would continue for a while longer.

I dont see that being an issue after this season. We are the upward swing and the pens are crashing down soon.
