Also, the Yotes will be having a Video tribute for Bryzgalov who will be in the building tonight. Fitting with Philly in town. |

MJL, I would just like to say that during this road trip, Voracek, Coots, and Giroux have all been scoring at higher rates than the rest of the season but the team is still losing
You said once the stars start scoring it will make it easier to win games. It seems that it is a bit more complicated than that |

Should be a snooze fest tonight as the Yotes basically play Devils style hockey. Key will be to get the first goal and hold onto a lead. Arizona is much better at playing with a lead than they are at chasing the game. |

Serious question. Is Shayne Gostisbehere and James van Riemsdyk stars? |

Yes, they are technically made of star dust. |

I know losing Lindblom changes things. It seems like we were winning more when we were spreading our top forwards over 3/4 lines rather than stacking two. Spreading out the minutes seems like something we'd benefit from during a road trip like this too. We're losing to beatable teams lately. |

So you don't think that Voracek, Couturier who has been scoring at a solid rate for a while now and Giroux all scoring better does not help the team?
Now if I had said that their lack of scoring is the only issue with the team, maybe you'd have a point here.
I would like to think that you know enough about hockey to realize that when a team gives up 4 goals in the first period, isn't skating well and is turning over the puck, blowing coverages, giving up PP goals and shorthanded goals against. That's a lot for any one player to overcome.
My statement was about looking at the season as a whole, not just a 4 game stretch. I guess there's no analytic website or spreadsheet for you to look at here to figure this out. |

I think the team really misses Lindblom. Other than Coots he was the Flyers most consistent 2 way player. When he went down, he was the leading goal scorer on the team. Was on the Coots PP UNIT. He and Coots were the first 2 on the PK. Its no coincidence the the teams whoas started when Oskar went down. He was far more valuable than we may have realized. |

Yup
They have the depth to overcome the loss of Patrick, but not both him and Lindblom. |

You posted g s stats a couple days ago and said that was a main issue with the team. Calling g out again. Pretty much saying he needs to contribute on the score sheet.
I think that’s what he was referring to. |

Shocking that in a 31 team league it's the Flyers who have two of their top young prospects whose careers might be over. |

Are you actually blaming the Flyers for Lindblom coming down with cancer???
This is beyond asinine, even for you. |

Not blaming anyone, It's more of the black cloud BS that hovers over this franchise.
What was your take when Bobby Clarke said it's not our fault Roger got cancer. Referring to coach Roger Nielson. Has a human being ever said anything dumber or insensitive? |

Frost had bad game in LV w penalties of aggression. I guess he was pissed to be sent down after seeing his skill set vs teammates. Funny, the game before he was sent down, coach gave his slot in shootout, i assume as reward for game performance. I know he is not a 4th line center, and he can use the significant ice time in the A but i understand his frustration as well. He needs to thicken and strengthen so better on the wall and puck. I see a 1/2C player here in a couple years. |
