I like it! I think Haula is great and worth the injury risk. Could even see him moving up as a wing in the top 6.

I got "banned" for calling out tanner and I just made a new name but only added a 4 to the end if it. Email accounts and names are free. He can only think that he can stop you.

While I think Haula would be a good get on a cheap one year deal, I have mixed feelings about him on a longer-term deal given his last two seasons of injury issues.

It's hard to gauge rumors because even if a rumor doesn't come to fruition doesn't mean it didn't have legs at some point. My issue with EK isn't how often he's wrong, but I think he's a bullpoopter. Like a week ago a poster on here busted him for his "source" which was an idea someone posted on the HF boards.

Cue my ban calling EK a bullpoopter.

That is an incredible feat if true... but lets cross our fingers that he got one right.

With ZAR going on long-term IR, that frees up $1M, giving the Pens $2.3M theoretically free. Moving Scevior would make room for Haula's contract, but I'd think they'd still want to move one more player to keep space for Poulin and/or deadline moves.

We're in such a bad spot with forward depth that any player with a recent track record of top 9 caliber play is an upgrade. Haula is not who I would have wanted at the start of the offseason, but at this point I'm taking what I can get.

This is where I stand. A player approaching 30 with injury issues for the last two seasons isn't a sign he's moving in the right direction. He's played 63 games over the last two years.

I'd be totally fine signing him to cheap contract on a one-year deal, but three years? No thank you.

When it comes to rumors he's the worst. The only time I think he was right and beat others to the punch was with the Jack Johnson signing. I could be wrong, but I think I remember that.
