Demko was missed, as was Myers. When you only score once, pretty hard to win games.
Would really like this Mikheyev experiment to end, sit him out and bring in Podkolzin.
I thought the coaching could have made some different decisions.
Boys still played hard in what was a frustrating game. On to the next one.

Myers was definitely missed, especially when Juulsen’s strength is his PK and he took two penalties. No one really thought this would be a sweep, have to find ways to get better looks and some greasy goals (assuming they hit the net first). Canucks have been a good road team, should be a fun couple games

Agreed.
Thought Ryan McDonough and Jeremy Lauzon had excellent games for Nashville

I agree about Mikheyev. Although I would like to see Aman draw in instead.
And thanks Yorkie👍🏻

Thanks Yorkie.

Pouty was garbage and DeSmith was a hot mess.

I didn’t get to see the entire game, but what I did see, was disappointing. Oh well, best of five now. I hate to say it but if DeSmith is the guy going forward, not that this was on him, I don’t like our chances.

84 shot attempts to 36, Pettersson's confidence in the gutter, Demko gone long term

81 opening round yesterday. 39 front and 42 on the back. Might be switching to the new Callaway Chrome Tour ball full-time. Double bogeyed 18 from the middle of the fairway lol. Such is golf.

Yes this is only a .500 Hockey club with Demko out. Gonna be tough to maintain.

Looks like you can add Tocchet to the growing list of nhl people who don't consider the play-in thingy as playoffs.

As for Petey, he’s a young kid and this is his first taste of pressure in the playoffs.

This is where the teams "identity" & "culture" will be tested. If they're as tight and focused as we've all been told all season long they should persevere.

Time to step up.

Pettersson has owned that he needs to be better so look for a big gm 3 from him lol.

This is a huge test. They handled it down the stretch with EDM chasing them but PO's are a different beast altogether. Tocchet will probably come back with Desmith for GM 3 but if we drop that one it should be Silovs chance. I mentioned with about 15 games left that Demko's injury status might be a thing but it was all dismissed lol.

Anyhoo folks off to EDM for the day chat amongst yourselves will check in later for the big Oil.

Demko's injury is unfortunate, but shouldn't be an excuse.

I think there’s a very real chance Silovs gets the start Friday. He looked solid down the stretch… but he’s also a rook so throwing him into a hostile arena might not be great.

Like Nashville adjusted, we’ll see what Tocc is able to adjust. He runs the PP so a lot of their failure is on him. Time for everyone to level up here.

Afternoon games won't make it easy for them either.

I'd like to see Silovs get the start, although I doubt he will.

DeSmith looks small in the net, especially with traffic in front of him.

Thanks for your work NYN.
Bummer of a game last night.
Couldn’t solve the Nashville collapse.
It’ll be on coaches and leadership to adjust.

I’d go with Silovs, but ultimately in Ian Clarke I trust.

I wonder if the flu that Myers had is going through the team.
Hughes looked off last night.

Need to get at least one game in Nashville to have a chance imo.

I don't think that's an opinion so much as a fact
