when the Canucks moved JT Miller, and brought in some nice pieces, and then brought in Markus Pettersson…..one of the the best D no one talks about… there was a lot of talk an expectation that this would. settle things down in the locker room…That this was now EP40s team.

The fact of the matter is there is still a division going on, and a group of players who believe that JT Miller was the one that should’ve been kept…. It’s really not fair on the Canucks because obviously moving JT to New York was something they knew they could do, where moving EP 40 and all of his salary is hard given his current state of Elias’ Performance.

But that play hasn’t limited the amount of teams who have talked to the Canucks and are who still talking to the Canucks about a trade for EP40…..

I talked to a source today who said there’s a lot of discussion, but he feels nothing will happen until the summer regarding EP40, because many other teams talking are in the playoff hunt and won’t tear apart their rosters right now with such a trade…. But if things don’t go well in the playoffs, they’ll feel a different way for sure.

Perhaps the locker room settles in by that point….. but that hasn’t stopped the Canucks from hearing what people are willing to do to make this trade happen… and what I’m told other GM’s are prepared to go pretty far for this player…..
