The Montreal Canadiens have the hottest goalie in the league on their roster, too bad he's sitting on the bench. Christobal Huet has been replaced for the last two games by David Aebischer, the Colorado Avalanche goalie that was traded for Jose Theodore. During Christobal's last 13 games, he leagues the league in every category besides wins. GAA, save PCT, and shut outs (5) are all leaders during that span. So why do we find him on the bench??? Who the hell knows and what in the world are you thinking? Montreal Canadiens are luckily still holding on to 8th spot in the Eastern Conference despite poor team play and excellent goal tending. The Hab's staff better give their head's a shake. Everyone in Montreal knows the only reason the Canadiens are in the spot they are in is because of Huet and the fans let him and the management know it on Saturday night at the Bell Center. When the goals started adding up against Aebischer, "Huet, Huet, Huet" chants poored down from the rafters. Put away your nice guy hand book Mr Gainey and get this team into the playoffs. Don't worry about hurt feelings for one new player, you'll have twenty players and 3 million fan's hurt feelings if you don't make the playoffs. If the Canadiens don't make the playoffs by one or two points I want to go on record that they lost the playoff race on Saturday night,March 18that the Bell Centerwith their 3rd loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins in which they sat out the hottest goalie in the NHL for back to back games.
