The regular season is over and now it is time to assess howyou did. Hopefully you are the toast of your league, but if you are not don't despair there is always next year, so start preparing now while the season is fresh in your mind. Write down the players thathad strongfinishes to their season. Look at which teams were coming together down the stretch. This should give you a leg up on the competition come next fall's fantasy draft.

At the beginning of every season, so called experts, like myself make predictions on how we think the season will turn out. So I thought you might want to look back at my predictions from 10/3/05:

Not bad, but certainly not good either. 4 out of 8 playoff teams right in the East and 6 out of 8 right in theWest. I did get the scoring champ right, but I would have never guessed that he would be tradedmid way throughthe season. I nailed theexact number of 100 point scorers and my top goal scorer ended up 5th.I could get the Vezina Trophy winner right, but my Selke guy got hurt in the first month of the season. My Stanley Cup Prediction is also looking shaky asthe Flyers have really struggled since Christmas and face a tough Buffalo team in round one. The Flames on the other hand, have the best goalie in the league, buthave problems putting the puck in the net at times.

Enjoy the playoffs and good luck in your fantasy playoff pools!!!
