I think anything less thana Calder Trophy would be a
disappointment. Is he the next Gretzky? Probably not. Gretzky came into
the league with far less fan fare than Crosby did and didn't have his
every move scrutinized, like Crosby will. I don't think he needs to
have a 120-point season to live up to his billing andeven a
point-a-game output might be a lot to ask, considering he's going to be
a watched man every shift. But if the Penguins get a lot of power play
time, and heplays with a healthy Mario ... maybe
90-100isn't out of the question. Sidney Crosby doesn't need to
save the NHL, but he also can't be Alexandre Daigle.
