There has been some chatter after a trade that has some people scratching their heads. Why a 2nd round pick had to be attached to Walman for “future considerations” has people wondering if that is a predecessor, if Walman’s reported “muscle injury” is worse than thought, or if it was a bizarre move.

The trade and extension market have already had a lot of buzz. Yes, there’s been one or two “guesses” that Trouba may be ok with a move to Detroit once he puts his list together around 7/1. No idea, and without dumping at least one bad contract that’s a chunk of a contract.

As for the draft, most mock drafts have Detroit grabbing Michael Brandsegg-Nygard at 15. In Yzerman’s tenure, the mock drafts have missed on his first round picks. It’s not impossible of course, but it’s been tough to guess what the GM will do. We will know soon enough and hopefully the deals for Raymond and Seider will be announced soon as well.

Let me know your final thoughts before the draft, and if you think Trouba would consider Detroit. Also, is that even Feasible or enticing for you?
