Christian Fischer has returned to Detroit with a cap hit of 1.125m.

Update - Jack Campbell signed at 775k

Update - Dman Gustafson signed 2x2

Update - Cam Talbot signed 2 years at 2.5 per

Update - Wings sign William Lagesson to 1 yr 775k. Feels like a waiver

Today’s blog will be a “rolling tally”, similar to the draft. It started with a nice surprise yesterday that sees Kane back in the fold for 1 year at 4m base with up to 2.5m in bonuses that can likely be applied to next season’s cap. In 50 games #88 added 20 goals and 27 assists. With both Larkin(33) and Raymond (31) breaking 30 and Debrincat’s 27 goals those 4 accounted for 111 goals on the season.

Gostisbehere, Sprong, Fischer and Perron haven’t made any commitments yet, and eyes will be on potential movement of Trouba and a possibility of Stamkos hitting the market while we await details of the $ invested in Guentzel by Tampa. I’ll do my level best to keep up, as it seems a flurry of activity continued into the night as it sounds like Reinhart made a deal with Florida. As always, keep it going in the comments. Are you happy to see Kane back in the fold for another season? An unexpected surprise after releases (my own included) that pointed to the future hall of famer moving on. I was happy to be wrong on that, and look forward to what a full season could see from “Showtime”.
