The Leafs gave the Kings their first regulation home loss since Jan 20th, and just their second home loss in 60 minutes since November.

Tonight Toronto is in Anaheim, the Ducks are on the verge of being eliminated from playoff contention. Anaheim has won two straight at home scoring 11 goals. Ducks have gone 0/15 on the power play last four games.

Leafs beat the Ducks in Toronto back in December. The blue and white have four straight wins against Anaheim, outscoring them 21-5.

Toronto's power play has been outstanding of late, 9/17 over their past 7 games (5-1-1).
Tavares extended his point streak to 6 games, (8G, 5A).

Tavares joins Nylander with 35+ goals on the season. It's the fourth straight season that the Leafs have multiple players with 35 goals or more in a season. Toronto is the only team to do that since the Kings and Penguins had runs ended in 1993-94.

The log jam at the top of the Atlantic has the three teams witin a point of each other. Habs can help themselves and the Leafs when they visit Florida this afternoon. Montreal sits two points out of Wild Card 2, but they have two games in hand on the Rangers who occupy the last playoff spot.
