In honour of Wayne Gretzky's birthday. Let's talk about the Leafs offensive, offence the last two games. At least they've been consistent, 1 goal for and 29 shots at their opponents net, in each of the past two games. While going 0/4 on the power play. It's the 11th time this season, the Leafs have scored one or none. Nylander 10 shots on net in the two games, with no lamp lighting. OEL has assists on both of the goals. Rielly has one shot on net over his past four games, this after having seven against New Jersey.

Leafs lead in the Atlantic is down to 1 point, over Florida and the Panthers play tonight in Vegas. Florida is 2-1-0 on their road trip.

Next up for the Leafs his a home game against the Wild on Wednesday. Maybe a few days off, to think about what they've done, will be helpful. Time for personal reflection.

I had to go out for a bit last night, I had the game on NHL Network radio, and it was the Senators broadcast. One of the commentators said about Reaves "wow, is he ever slow" I can't recall anyone in the booth (outside of Jack Edwards) say something like that about an opponent on the ice. Reaves may not be fleet of foot, but he punches really fast.

McDavid's suspension is over, he returns tomorrow against the Kraken.
His second career suspension, last one was 2 games in Feb 2019. When he returned he fired off a 10 game point streak (4G, 16A). Don't make him angry.
