Leafs are back at it on the weekend with two games, at home vs Carolina Saturday and into Chicago on Sunday.

The emotional ride from the Four Nations Face Off is over and all other pro-sports have took notice on how an all-star break should go.

Both Marner and Matthews had two assists in the final. Marner made the most of his 1 goal and 2 assists in the tournament. Scored in OT vs Sweden, and assisted in final on Bennett's tying goal and the beauty pass to McDavid in OT. Mr OT Marner.Mitchy the Kid was the only one of the three Leafs in the tournament to score. Nylander finished with 2 assists and Matthews with 3 helpers.
Leafs are three points behind Florida for top spot in the Atlantic, with the Buds having two games in hand.

It's also apparent that the Panthers might be absent Matthew Tkachuk when they host the Kraken Saturday.Tkachuk has an active 6 game goal streak (7G, 2A)

News in Leafs land is that Max Pacioretty will be out for the weekend. He's missed 14 games this season due to injury. He has 1 assist in his last 13 games.

Canes head into Toronto having lost their last two road games, scoring only one goal.
Outside of Pacioretty the Leafs look healthy with 27 games remaining.

Stolarz who returned on Feb 6 after being out since early December, is 7-3-0 at home this season, 1.86GAA, .937SV%. Expect to see him and Woll this weekend.

Including the four nations tourney, Matthews hasn't scored in his last 9 games. He has 7 assists in his last 4 games with Toronto. I will be back Sunday to breakdown the Leafs/Canes and get you set for Leafs/Hawks.
Stay Classy.
